Which Version Should You Use?
I highly recommend starting with Snap Captions 2 if you haven’t used either before. The free version of Snap Captions 2 has more features packed into it.
Compatibility & Installation
Do I need Resolve Studio (Paid Version)
- Do I need Resolve Studio? Yes. Both versions need the Studio version to transcribe audio into subtitle tracks. (Workarounds exist for non-Studio users using external subtitle import.)
