Re-Installing Snap Pod

If you want to update to the latest version of Snap Pod, here’s the guide on how to exactly do that.

Step 01 - Download the latest version of Snap Pod here.

Step 02 - Re-Install Snap Pod

Depending on if you’re using the Auto Installer, or the manual install, there are two methods here.

Option 01 - For Mac and Windows Installers

For mac and windows installers, this is very easy. Simply unzip the contained folder and run through the installation process.

TIP - There is no need to deactivate your license key. This is retained between installations.

Option 02 - For Manual Installations

Step 01 - Find the install location of Snap Pod

For Mac

Right click in finder

β†’ Go To Folder

β†’ Paste this in

/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins

For Windows

Go to this file location

C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Workflow Integration Plugins\snap-pod-data

Step 02 - Delete The Existing Snap-Pod Folder

Step 03 - Install the new Snap Pod

  • Unzip the Snap Pod download using your choice of Zipping Software

QUICK TIP - Make sure The Snap Pod folder is unzipped as well.

  • Drag your newly downloaded Snap Pod folder into the following location

For Mac

/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Workflow Integration Plugins

For Windows

C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Workflow Integration Plugins\snap-pod-data
