Installation Tutorial

Fonts

We highly highly recommend you install all these fonts before attempting to use the Snap Captions Clean Pack

Font list

You will find the fonts already downloaded with your Snap Captions Clean Pack zip folder.

Or, download them here:

Next, you will need to install them.

How To Install Fonts

For Windows

  • Unzip the Snap Captions Clean Pack folder
  • Open Clean Pack V02.01 - FONTS
  • Highlight all of the fonts
  • Right click and hit install

For Mac

  • Unzip the Snap Captions Clean Pack folder
  • Open Clean Pack V02.01 - FONTS
  • Open your Font Book (Finder > Applications > Font Book)
  • Highlight all of the fonts and drag and drop them into the Font Book

You might need to restart DaVinci Resolve for the fonts to be visible in the program.

Recommended CPL (Characters Per Line)

What Is Recommended CPL?

How many characters per line we recommend you generate for the caption template.

For all of the captions in Snap Captions Clean Pack, we recommend a maximum of 15 characters per line. We suggest you keep this in mind as you generate your subtitles.
