Changing colors of pre-made templates
All of the pre-made templates that come with Snap Captions are customizable. You can change how they look like you normally would any text+.
Where to find the settings to change a color
To change any color:
- Choose a text+ you want to modify from the bin
- Drag it onto the timeline
- In the inspector tab, open the elements page
In the elements tab, you will find all the color option in here.
Text+ supports up to 8 different elements, which enable effects like:
- Base Text
- Drop Shadows
- Glows
- Backgrounds
- And more…
- Let’s say you’re going to use the template named Karaoke, but you don’t like the color of the background.
- You can go into the Inspector → Shading → Element 4 → Change the color.
- Once you are done making your adjustments, you can change the name of your caption by going to Inspector → File → Name
- Lastly, drag the clip to back into the bin. It will appear in the drop down menu with the other templates once you run Snap Captions.
