Do I Need a Licence Key for Snap Animate?

So you bought Snap Animate, installed it, opened DaVinci Resolve and went looking for the box to paste your licence key into. There isn't one. Nothing has gone wrong, and here's what to do instead.

Short answer: no, not right now

Snap Animate doesn't ask for a licence key. The paid version you downloaded is already the full version, with everything unlocked, the moment it's installed. There is no activation step and nothing to unlock.

That surprises people, because almost every other plugin works the other way around. Snap Animate ships as two separate downloads instead: a free version and a paid version. Which one you have is decided by which file you installed, not by a key you type in.

Keep your key anyway

Your licence key is your proof of purchase. A future update is likely to ask for it, and you'll always be able to find it by logging into your customer portal on creem.io
