LemonSqueezy has changed everything to my business. The HUGE advantage is that it’s a “merchant of record”, which simply means they deals with the correct sales tax thresholds to different customers. If you’re selling digital products worldwide, it gets complicated as heck and you can easily end up undercharging some customers and later ending up with a massive tax bill you weren’t expecting. LemonSqueezy deals with it all. There is literally nothing else on the market that makes selling digital products so stress-free.

Canva is just awesome, I would say it’s the swiss army knife of visual media. Apart from it being the best a quick image creation stuff, it also comes with a bunch of essential tools entrepreneurs need. I’ve been absolutely loving their collaborative white boards for hosting strategy sessions with team members.

We switched to Affinity as our main thumbnail creation tool in Jan 2025. And we’ve never looked back. It comes with all the tools you need, to give your thumbnails that extra spark to stand out. And it does all this while still being stable and fast. Which is more we can say for other similar tools.

Create a website from a Notion page in seconds. This is INVALUABLE to me when. My current website www.orsonlord.com is all built with Super. It basically takes your notion pages, and gives them a glow up so they’re website ready! I needed a clean-looking website ASAP, and Super made this possible. Yes, Notion has introduced native “websites”… but they still look like Notion pages. Super will get you a better-looking website without all the faff from the others.

Emailing for marketing is suprisingly complicated. I switched to Kit over a year ago, and it dramatically streamlines a lot of the complex, without taking any control or power away from you. They’re specifically built for creators, and it really shows once you start using them.

When I need to send a quick video recording to someone, nothing gets it done faster than loom. Once recording is done, there’s a link that’s INSTANTLY ready to share. Probably saved me at-least ~90 hours this last year alone not having to worry about uploading and sharing content amongst people.

Honestly, when I need something to move on screen, these tools get it done the quickest.

This is one of the few books written over a decade ago, that’s still just as relevant today. It will allow you to articulate those thoughts for the first time, which leads to more clear and decisive actions.

It’s the swiss army knife of cameras, and I love it for that. While it may not be the best at everything (okay, maybe it’s lowlight and slow motion stuff is the best for price) it can do anything. If you’re looking for a pro camera to start with, that doesn’t break the bank, and your not sure where you’ll go in the future, this will keep you covered and more. I’m thinking about upgrading to a Black Magic Pocket Camera soon as they has some awesome automation possibilities with Resolve. So stay tuned for that.

Super solid USB Mic Honestly, I got this mic for free from work a while ago. But it’s been rock solid for what I need. If you’re looking for a simple mic you can plug into your computer and record with, this works exceptionally well.

Everytime I clean my desk, this thing has a good swing and nearly kills me as it springs free. 10/10 - great at holding mics up 👍

I was 100% a windows user until the first M chip macs dropped. I’m still waiting for windows to catch up. I grabbed myself a Macbook Air M1 ($1,000 usd at the time), and it was giving a smoother editing experience than my $6,000 PC!!! 🤬 Recently I upgraded to an M3 Pro, and it’s been a beast at editing videos.

Two words → Horizontal Scrolling ← It’s a rock solid mouse, good precision, huge battery life, works on all devices, and it helps scrub through timelines… VERY FAST. 10/10 - will buy a second one soon.

I have the older versions of these lights (which are no longer available) but these are pretty much the exact same, except they come with some awesome features, like being able to control them with your phone via the Sidus link app.

These are the easiest lights to work with, that shine a HUGE amount: - Need a fill light → Does it quick - Need to change a room color → you bet! - Want to have an expensive LIGHTSABER fight? Send me a video 🙃

A.I. is like having the worlds smartest assistant, but with 0 wisdom. It’ll give the best suggestion you COULD do, but it takes a professional to say whether you SHOULD do it. That’s why I think an expert equipped with A.I. is an unstoppable weapon of productivity and results.
